Helpline – OGMA Whistleblower Channel

At OGMA, we are committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and respect for ethical principles. As part of this commitment, our Ethics & Compliance Program provides a dedicated communication channel — the HELPLINE — that constitutes a safe and confidential way to report concerns related to ethical misconduct, bribery and corruption, as well as potential infringements of the law or of Company policies and procedures.

Through HELPLINE, you can report any harmful practices and deviations from ethical behavior involving OGMA, its people, customers and suppliers, in a confidential manner, at all times. All reports will be handled with the utmost care and confidentiality, and will start a fact-finding process followed by a formal investigation, in accordance with OGMA’s HELPLINE Policy and Procedure, at all times.

Every report we receive is valuable. It helps us detect and correct non-compliant behavior, reinforces our values, improves our practices, and ensures that ethics remain at the heart of everything we do.

The HELPLINE is based on four fundamental principles:

  • Anonymous reporting, if the reporter intends to do so;
  • Non-retaliation, ensuring protection for those reporting in good faith;
  • Confidentiality of information, whether or not the reporter has chosen to remain anonymous;
  • Commitment to the truth of the matter and diligence throughout the investigation process.

In order to ensure independence and objectivity, the HELPLINE is managed by an external company specialized in ethical and compliance reporting. This guarantees impartiality and reduces the risk of retaliation or conflicts of interest. All reports are received by this external partner and subsequently forwarded to a specialized OGMA team, which will conduct analysis and investigation in accordance with our internal procedures. If, in the course of the investigation, OGMA finds any infringement, which, by nature, requires reporting to the competent authorities, OGMA will act accordingly.

On a regular basis, overall HELPLINE results and a summary of investigations are reported to Embraer Audit, Risk and Ethics Committee (CARE), which includes Board members and Independent Advisors.

The HELPLINE can be accessed by all OGMA employees on OGMA Portal (intranet), and also by people outside OGMA on OGMA website (www.ogma.pt).
