This legislation establishes the National Anticorruption Mechanism (MENAC) and the General Regime for the Prevention of Corruption (RGPC).<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The RGPC provides that all companies, whether public or private, operating in Portugal, having 50 or more employees \u2013 as well as branches of companies with head offices located abroad \u2013 adopt and implement a regulatory compliance program that includes, at a minimum:<\/p><ul><li>A Plan for the Prevention of Risks of Corruption and Related Offenses (PPR)<\/li><li>A Code of Conduct<\/li><li>A training program<\/li><li>A whistleblower channel<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br>As part of its permanent commitment to conducting business with integrity, ethics, and transparency, <strong>OGMA<\/strong> has developed a comprehensive Ethics &amp; Compliance Program. This program provides for compliance with national and international legislation and is the basis for responsible sustainable corporate behavior. <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PPR is an essential component of this program. It is the result of a thorough assessment of OGMA\u2019s operations, identifying and classifying the risk factors that may expose <strong>OGMA <\/strong>to acts of corruption and related offenses. The plan also describes existing internal controls to mitigate such risks and defines a set of opportunities for improvement with the aim of strengthening our compliance framework.  <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We invite all stakeholders \u2014 employees, suppliers, partners, customers and potential customers, regulators, and public in general \u2014 to review our Plan for the Prevention of Risks of Corruption and Related Offenses. This document is a key management tool that reflects our determination to continuously enhance Ethics &amp; Compliance practices at <strong>OGMA<\/strong>.
