Founded in 1918, OGMA - Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal S.A., is one of the longest established aviation companies in the world.

Originally the company was a manufacturer of aircraft and engines under license, but since the 1970ís it has been primarily dedicated to the maintenance of aircraft, engines and components. As the company has expanded during the last 20 years, it has evolved into a Portuguese Centre of Excellence for all aspects of aircraft maintenance, aerostructure manufacturing, aeronautical engineering, logistics support and maintenance management programs.

Over the last 90 years, the accumulated experience and acquired knowledge, matured and developed over its history.

The arrival of new shareholders ( EMBRAER and EADS ), allowed OGMA to improve the offer of very high quality services, expertise and reliability. The highly qualified personnel are the result of several generations of learning and sharing.
